Pricing
-
We
suggest starting at what you think you would pay for the item. But you need to
decide, popular baby equipment or large toy items in great shape could be
marked 1/4 - 1/3 of the original retail price or higher. Clothing is more
subjective and dictated by condition and brand, generally price above what you
think you could get at a garage sale.
Ask yourself what you'd be willing to pay or see what similar items sell for
at Once Upon a Child or Saver's.
-
We are not a garage
sale, so don't sell yourself short by asking garage sale prices. However, we are
not a boutique either, so don't price yourself out of a sale
-
You are paid 70% of what
your items sell for, some people add 30% over what they
want to get for an item so they can cover their kidsConsignit cost. (For
an item you want $2, 30% more is .40, price the item at $2.50)
- There is no
minimum number of items you need to consign. A minimum price per item is $2.00. You can group two or more items together to reach higher amounts
and print fewer tags. Your
items must be priced in $0.50 increments. For example, $2.50, $5.00, but
not $3.30, or $1.90.
- We strongly
suggest that you have at least $100 total in tagged items to make it worth
your while.
